How long does it take to go from your home city’s center to the airport lounge for an international flight? In Geneva, it took me less than 30 minutes today (in the middle of the day, on a Monday):
- Train ride from city center to Genève Aéroport (GVA) station: 7 minutes
- Bag drop and passport check: <5 minutes, after skipping the line with 100 students traveling back home…
- Security check: <5 minutes, using the lane equipped with CT scans
- Immigration: <3 minutes, using the automated border control with biometric passport
- Lounge: <2 minutes, including voucher for wifi access and directions to the bar
About 22 minutes processing and 8 minutes walking… I like talking about smooth experiences, not only about painful ones
