Kudos to Daniel Coleman and the Future Travel Experience team for putting up a great event and bringing people together again after two years of pandemics

One of the highlights was the opening keynote by Tonje Wikstrøm Frislid, CEO of Flyr (the airline, not the labs 😉). After kicking off with a comment on gender diversity in the airline industry 🙈, she gave a fascinating insight into the launch of a new airline.

She applied what IATA talked about in Simplify the Business: “if you’d start an airline now, you would avoid all the legacy and take advantage of new systems”. In the picture below Tonje described her commercial systems, data and guest experience solutions: full offer and order management, no PSS.

Is this the way forward to commercial agility and freedom for airlines?
